On the Caribbean coast of Panama, surrounded by tropical rainforest and with wide-open ocean views, sits Playa Escondida Resort — one of the most exclusive residential developments in the country. Its combination of privacy, natural surroundings, and architectural design has made it a preferred destination for guests seeking premium experiences on the Panamanian Caribbean.

In this case study, we document the photography production of two short-term vacation rental apartments inside Playa Escondida, produced for Amazinn Places, a client we've collaborated with on multiple Airbnb and short-term rental projects across Panama's Pacific Riviera.

The main goal of this production was to create a high-impact image set, optimized specifically for the channels where booking decisions are made:

One of the main challenges of this project was maximizing natural light conditions throughout the day. The weather in Colón can change quickly, so we designed a full production day with wide working windows:

Early start to take advantage of soft morning light indoors
Midday coverage for common areas, pools, and exteriors
Extension into golden hour to capture a second atmosphere with warm light

On top of that, we coordinated the travel logistics from the Pacific Riviera, aligning crew and timing to make sure every space was photographed at its best moment.

One of the biggest assets of these apartments are their direct views of the Caribbean, and that was the visual axis that shaped the entire creative approach of the project. In every image we worked to:

As part of the process, we extended the session into sunset to capture the apartments in a completely different atmosphere. Twilight photography allows us to:
